Our business model is based on sustainability at our core. We started the brand because we wanted to find a range of delicious organic ingredients with tons of flavor, but we didn't stop there... From box to seed to sip, our product is a good choice for you and a good choice for the environment. 

Our box? It's made with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper, ensuring the paper is sourced from responsible sources, is 100% recyclable and is printed with a soy-based ink.

Our tea bags? No nylon or plastics here! Our pyramid tea sachets are made of Soilon, a 100% plant-based biodegradable material, and are commercially compostable. The strings and tags attached to the bags are also heat sealed to avoid waste or harmful chemicals. 

Our tea envelopes a.k.a. wrappers? They may look like plastic but they are actually made of plant-based biodegradable materials.

Our tea itself? Sourced and made from premium organic ingredients and are USDA certified organic. 

In addition, we are a member of 1% for the Planet, an international organization whose members contribute 1% of their total annual sales to environmental causes. That's right, with every purchase of a We Spill The Tea product, you are giving back to organizations who support and protect our planet.
